Complete Building Services is in search of a Building Engineer with a Maryland 2nd Class license to assist the Chief Engineer with the maintenance and upkeep of the building and its systems. Located in the Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD. The hours are M-F 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
As our Building Engineer, your Major Duties will be:
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
- Performs comprehensive preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical, control and plumbing systems.
- Responds to all related repair requests and troubleshoots problems.
- Maintain equipment to industry standards.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by the supervisor.
- Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.
- Interface with the building manager and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction.
- Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed.
- Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and security systems and associated hardware and equipment as directed.
- Prepare predictive maintenance on assigned equipment to prevent breakdowns and/or outages.
- Prepares recurring reports reflecting daily operations and project status.
- Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders.
Complete Building Services (CBS) is hiring a Chief Engineer to oversee an educational facility in Washington, DC. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all mechanical and electrical operations, maintenance, plumbing, keying, lighting, life safety, and energy management within the facility. The Chief must possess an active DC Third Class license. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Here is a view in the day in the life of our Chief Engineer:
- Assign work to subordinates utilizing CMMS to maintain building operations
- Provide Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed
- Perform diagnostic and repairs on building systems
- Prepare work schedules
- Train, or arrange for training of, Contractor employees in the proper maintenance of building systems
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis to provide on-time delivery of contract requirements
- Prepare and issue solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements
- Administer the CMMS requirements daily
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project tracking software
Complete Building Services is a facility management company that partners with major hotel brands Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Cambria. We are looking at bringing in a new Hotel Chief Engineer to support us in Washington, DC. Salary range $35-$40 per hour. In this role you are eligible to make overtime. As a CBS Chief Engineer, you must be able to do the following:
- Assist in developing, managing, and operating capital budgets
- Develop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goals
- Develop processes, procedures, and standards for the facility's operational performance
- Read and understand contract and RFP requirements
- Create an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employees
- Review work performance of subordinates
- Manage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PM's through the CMMS
- Assist with environmental compliance
- Assist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codes
- Develop, manage, and coordinate all shift schedules including holiday, vacation, sick and emergency coverages
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to discuss facility operations, project status, toolbox safety and other relevant information
- Review, approve and submit weekly time sheets, work order tickets and other required documentation
- Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders
- As required, prepare, and submit a cost analysis report for contracted work
- Assist with updating and implementing HAZCOM and environmental programs
- Set-up, maintain and use filing system
- Perform tool and equipment inventory monthly
- Maintain skills and knowledge to industry standards
- Perform annual and semi-annual performance reviews
Complete Building Services (CBS), is in search of a full-time on-site Facilities Manager to support a large facility in Culpeper, VA. The Facilities Manager (FM) will be experienced in the management and supervision of building mechanical and maintenance operations. The FM will manage all maintenance, emergency repairs, service calls, lead the on-site technical team, and serve as the technical point of contact. Compensation $110,000-$130,000 year.
- Manage all aspects of designated properties and supervise a staff of engineers and maintenance technicians
- Participate in weekly customer meetings to review project status, service requests, preventative maintenance operations, and special requests
- Oversee day-to-day vendor performance to assure full compliance with established standards
- Manage the preparation and coordination of all maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions and the appearance of buildings
- Participate in the selection of contract services and vendor negotiation of service agreements
- Aid in the preparation and coordination of fire, life safety, and other safety programs
- Define project scope, solicit pricing, submit for approval, manage project on time and on budget, complete building
- Coordinate with staff to ensure timely completion of work order request
CBS is hiring a Chief Engineer to oversee a 110,000 sq. ft. building in Alexandria, VA. Hours are 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
