Complete Building Services  (CBS) is searching for Senior HVAC Technicians to join our Commercial HVAC Service division. Our HVAC Technicians rotate on call duties throughout the year, on average a tech may only be on call for 4 weeks through a 52 week period. CBS provides all service trucks to ensure you have a reliable source of travel for your position. As an HVAC Technician, you will be involved in three main areas - supporting installation projects, supporting preventative maintenance work plans, and responding to calls to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Major Duties to include:  - Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition - Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned - Provide direction and support to sub-contractors when needed - Interface with building personnel and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction - Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders - Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion

This position is responsible for the physical data collection of assets tracked by the Inova CMMS system for their six area hospital campuses in Northern Virginia. The position requires  tracking of numerous projects, from single rooms to entire buildings, across all six campuses. Complete Building Services (CBS) is in search of a full-time Assistant Chief for a hotel in Washington, DC. The Assistant Chief must have 2-3 years supervisory experience. - Assist in developing, managing and operating and capital budgets - Help develop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goals - Help develop processes, procedures and standards for the facilities operational performance - Help create an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employees - Review work performance of subordinates - Manage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PM's through the CMMS - Assist with environmental compliance - Assist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codes - Help develop, manage and coordinate all shift schedules including holiday, vacation, sick and emergency coverages - Assist with conducting weekly staff meetings to discuss facility operations, project status, toolbox safety and other relevant information - Review, approve and submit weekly time sheets, work order tickets and other required documentation - Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders - As required, prepare and submit a cost analysis report for contracted work - Assist with updating and implementing HAZCOM and environmental programs - Set-up, maintain and use filing system - Perform tool and equipment inventory monthly - Maintain skills and knowledge to industry standards - Perform annual and semi-annual performance reviews - Perform other duties as assigned

The Painter will patch, paint, perform light carpentry, and other general cosmetic repairs in hotel rooms, event spaces and administrative offices. This position is located in Adelphi, MD. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.     - Scrape, remove wallpaper, strip, sandpaper, prime, and/or seal surfaces prior to finishing - Cover or otherwise protect furniture, carpeting, and other surfaces from paint spattering. Remove any spattered paint or over-spray - Mix, match, and carefully apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes using spray gun, rollers, brushes, as indicated. Evaluate need for additional application(s) - Safely erect scaffolding as needed - Clean and care for brushes, spray guns, and other equipment - Hang and repair wallpaper, hang and repair drywall, apply and repair plaster, tape and apply joint compound as required - Purchase routine supplies and make recommendations relating to the purchase of equipment, securing supervisory authorization for major expenditures - Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas and comply with all generally recognized safety procedures - May be assigned other responsibilities, such as moving furniture, driving agency vehicle, installing vinyl baseboard, caulking, and minor carpentry - Other related responsibilities as assigned.
