  Complete Building Services  (CBS) is searching for Senior HVAC Technicians to join our Commercial HVAC Service division. Our HVAC Technicians rotate on call duties throughout the year, on average a tech may only be on call for 4 weeks through a 52 week period. CBS provides all service trucks to ensure you have a reliable source of travel for your position. As an HVAC Technician, you will be involved in three main areas - supporting installation projects, supporting preventative maintenance work plans, and responding to calls to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Major Duties to include:  - Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition - Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned - Provide direction and support to sub-contractors when needed - Interface with building personnel and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction - Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders - Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion

This position is responsible for the physical data collection of assets tracked by the Inova CMMS system for their six area hospital campuses in Northern Virginia. The position requires  tracking of numerous projects, from single rooms to entire buildings, across all six campuses. Hours 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday.   The ideal candidate: - Will have strong verbal and written communication skills - Can rapidly build rapport with staff at all levels - Is a self-starter and capable of working independently without supervision for extended periods - Has a developed ability to learn new information - Can adapt to unique challenges and environments - Is capable of working indoors and outdoors, occasionally on rooftops. - Is capable of climbing ladders, reaching overhead, carrying up to 25 lbs, walking and/or standing for extended periods, kneeling, and climbing over/under certain equipment. - Has access to reliable personal transportation to support sites throughout Northern Virginia - Has a keen eye for detail - Has strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills - Has excellent MEP and CAFM reading skills - Has applied curiosity for the facilities, structures, equipment, processes, and departments that comprise these sites - Has a drive for continual process improvement, to include review and update of already submitted material when needed

The Painter will patch, paint, perform light carpentry, and other general cosmetic repairs in hotel rooms, event spaces and administrative offices. This position is located in Adelphi, MD. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.     - Scrape, remove wallpaper, strip, sandpaper, prime, and/or seal surfaces prior to finishing - Cover or otherwise protect furniture, carpeting, and other surfaces from paint spattering. Remove any spattered paint or over-spray - Mix, match, and carefully apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes using spray gun, rollers, brushes, as indicated.
