Complete Building Services, (CBS) is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with fire alarm experience to join our team. You will be supporting our academic partner in Fairfax, Va. The shift is Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Work involves the following:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes
• Install, terminate, and test fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, strobes, pull stations, and notification devices
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and fire alarm riser diagrams
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades on-site
• Perform routine testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and electrical systems
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation as required.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes

What we are looking for in your resume:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license 
• Minimun five (5) years commercial electrical experience in similar size facility 
• Minimun two (2) years fire alarm experience
• NICET certification a plus
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72 codes
• Ability to use testing equipment such as multimeters, meghommeters, and fire alarm test tools
• Read blueprints and drawings/layouts
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or elevated areas
• Provide excellent customer service 
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
