    Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Building Controls Engineer at our corporate HQ in Washington DC, Frienship Heights. 

     

     

    About the Role

    The Building Controls Engineer will have:

    • Working knowledge of operations and maintenance of buildings and building systems to include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and energy systems
    • Working knowledge of the design, maintenance, repair and use of DDC and HVAC systems, chiller operations, personal computers, and related software
    • Maintain, install, operate, and repair industrial and commercial mechanical, air conditioning, heating and ventilating control systems
    • Program and integrate control systems such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls,Automated Logic, Distech, Siemens and any other control vendor

    You Should Have

    • A strong background in Tridium/Niagra Platform
    • Capable of troubleshooting a variety of HVAC controls
    • Strong understanding of EMS programming
    • Possess experience working with Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Tridium, BACnet, Modbus and/or LON energy management based systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, control diagrams, HVAC equipment, and electrical schematic control wiring diagrams
    • Must be able to work inside and outside while climbing ladders and scaffolding on platforms at heights of 15-30 feet and occasionally higher
    • Safely and independently move and carry tools and equipment on a daily basis ability to lift anywhere from 25-55 pounds
    • Ability to use the tools and equipment pertinent to the trade
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must have valid driver's license
