    Complete Building Services, a building operations/facilities maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support a three plus million square foot portfolio in Washington DC. CBS is a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. - Washington's oldest real estate company.


    The Assistant Project Manager will support efforts in the day-to-day oversight and implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed and well maintained portfolio.

    • Aid in the preparation and coordination of fire, life safety and other safety programs
    • Assist the Senior Project Manager in the preparation and coordination of all maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the buildings
    • Participate in the selection of contract services and vendor negotiation of service agreements
    • Oversee day-to-day vendor performance to assure full compliance with established standards
    • Manage all aspects of designated properties and supervise staff 0f 8-10 engineers and maintenance techs
    • Work with staff and clients in the planning and organization of internal and building to building moves
    • Liaison to various in-house support groups for moves and support
    • Coordinate with staff to ensure timely completion of work order requests
    • Assist and support the Senior Project Manager on the day-to-day financial management of the property and maintenance of financial records and files, as needed
    • Assist with preparation of the budget, financial reviews and monthly management reports



    • RPA, FMA certification desired
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience with property sites over 500,000 square feet
    • Strong computer, writing, and communication skills a must
    • Proven analytical abilities
    • Must be able to provide and manage proposals of all disciplines, i.e. electrical, plumbing, general building maintenance, carpentry, and painting
    • Must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies
